Whether you use a screen reader, bigger text or less motion, or you just need things done a little differently, we want TempDash to work for you.
Our commitment
Where we are today.
This statement covers the TempDash app for professionals, the TempDash Business app, the business dashboard on the web and this website.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We haven’t had a full independent audit yet, so we don’t claim to meet them in full. Below is what works today and what we’re still working on.
In the apps
What you can do in the apps.
Use a screen reader
The apps work with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Buttons, rows and switches are labelled, so your screen reader says what each one does and whether it’s on.
Make text bigger
Text grows with your phone’s text size and never shrinks below its normal size. At the largest sizes, screens scroll so nothing gets cut off.
Turn down the motion
Turn on Reduce Motion on your phone and TempDash keeps still: celebrations, sliding steps and shimmering placeholders stop moving.
Light, dark or more contrast
Pick a light or dark theme, or follow your phone. Increase contrast makes text and edges stand out more.
Easy to tap
Buttons and rows are at least 44 points tall, so they’re easier to hit.
Feel it, see it
A sound is never the only sign that something happened. You’ll see it on screen, and most actions give a gentle vibration too.
Your language
Use the apps in English, Polski, Română, Português or Español. Change it any time in Settings.
On the web
What you can do on this website.
Use a keyboard
Every link, menu and form works with a keyboard. A clear outline shows where you are, and a Skip to content link jumps past the menu.
Less motion, less see through
If your device asks for reduced motion, our videos and animations stay still. If it asks for reduced transparency, see through panels turn solid.
Images and videos
Images that carry meaning have a text description. Our videos have no sound, so nothing is lost if you can’t hear them.
Five languages
Read this website in English, Polski, Română, Português or Español. Your browser and screen reader are told which language a page is in.
Not there yet
What’s not fully accessible yet.
We’d rather tell you than have you find out. We’re working on all of these.
Welcome films
The welcome films in the apps don’t have captions yet. Everything they show is also written in the app.
A few small labels
At the largest text sizes, a few small labels, like the names under the tab bar, stop growing so they still fit.
Some screens
A few screens may still have a button or picture your screen reader doesn’t describe clearly. Tell us if you find one.
Website theme
This website and the business dashboard only come in a light theme for now.
Business dashboard
The dashboard on the web doesn’t have a Skip to content link yet.
Some things stay in English
Some notifications and emails, and our legal documents, are only in English for now.
