What we keep

What we keep, and for how long

  • Shifts, pay and invoices

Kept for six years, because tax law requires it.

  • Your identity details

Your name, date of birth, address and National Insurance number are held separately and locked down, used only for the yearly tax report we must make, then deleted. That’s six years, or five years for anti money laundering records.

  • Right to work checks

Kept for two years after your last shift, then deleted with the documents.

  • Messages and ratings

Messages stay in the other person’s chat without your name or photo. Ratings keep their score without the words.

  • A business’s own records

Invoices, timesheets and shifts stay with that business.

  • Backups

Deleted information can sit in our secure backups for a while until they cycle out.

  • Payments

The company that handles our payments keeps its own record.
