Can I cancel a booked shift?

Yes. A shift nobody has booked can be cancelled at any time at no cost.

Once someone has booked, there’s no charge to cancel:

• more than 48 hours before the start, or
• within 30 minutes of them booking, as long as the shift hasn’t started.

Otherwise you pay the minimum charge: 6 hours of the booking, or the whole booking if it’s shorter. The professional is paid it.

We always show you exactly what it will cost before you confirm. Once they’ve checked in, a shift can’t be cancelled, so tell us about the problem instead.
